About Hall Watch Collective
Sixteen years ago, when my wife and I got married, I had a dream of marking life's biggest milestones with a watch. I imagined owning a collection that would tell the story of our family. A watch for our wedding day, one for the birth of each of our three daughters, another when I began my career as a history teacher, and others for the moments that define a lifetime.
Like many young families, those watches simply weren't in the budget.
Life moved forward, our family grew, and the dream stayed in the back of my mind. Years later, I started a small side business with one simple goal: earn enough to finally purchase the watches I had always admired. What began as a way to fund a personal passion quickly grew into something much bigger.
That's how Hall Watch Collective was born.
As a history teacher, I've always believed that every artifact has a story. Watches are no different. Horology is more than engineering, it's history, craftsmanship, innovation, and human achievement captured on your wrist. Every vintage watch has lived a life before it found me. It has witnessed celebrations and hardships, ordinary days and unforgettable moments. While we may never know every chapter of its story, those experiences become part of its character.
Restoring vintage watches has become one of my greatest passions. There's something incredibly rewarding about bringing a forgotten timepiece back to life while preserving the history it carries. It's not unlike walking through an old battlefield, historic home, or century-old town and imagining the people who once stood there. I don't just see an old watch, I see a piece of history waiting for its next chapter.
My goal is to preserve the legacy of these remarkable brands while giving each watch a new opportunity to create memories with someone else. A vintage watch doesn't just tell time, it carries it. And when it finds a new owner, its story continues.
The same is true for new watches. Every brand-new watch begins as a blank page, waiting to accompany someone through weddings, graduations, promotions, adventures, and everyday moments that eventually become treasured memories. My hope is that one day those watches will be passed down to children or grandchildren, carrying not just mechanical craftsmanship, but a family's history.
Above all, Hall Watch Collective is rooted in family. My wife and our three daughters are the reason this business exists. They've encouraged me from the very beginning and continue to remind me why meaningful work matters. Building this business has become an opportunity to teach my daughters the value of hard work, entrepreneurship, craftsmanship, and appreciating objects that are made to last not just for years, but for generations.
Whether you're searching for a carefully restored vintage piece with decades of history or a brand-new watch ready to begin its journey, I'm honored you've chosen to visit Hall Watch Collective.
Because every great watch has a story.
The best ones are still being written.
